Garry Newman
Managing Director
Responsible for the overall Management for NBB Rail
Gary is the Managing Director of NBB Rail, with over 15 years experience in the electrical engineering industry. He is also a highly motivated Project Manager with a wide range of experience in multi-discipline project delivery and quality assurance roles, which he passes down to the team.
Garry has the responsibility for works managed from the Strand Office including Network Rail and Underground contracts and has responsibility for Company Standards in Health and Safety.
Coming from a construction background Garry has held AP/SAP and commissioning manager roles on major rail infrastructure upgrade projects during his career.
Kris Byatt
Technical Director
Providing Technical & Professional Services for NBB Rail
Kris is the Technical Director and NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor for NBB Rail. His key roles include the responsibility for any consultancy and technical roles / projects the business undertakes.
Kris has overall control of the testing and commissioning works and responsibility for Company Standards in Environment and Quality.
Kris has ten years experience in the railway engineering industry, focused on railway construction and maintenance and twenty years experience in the wider industry.
Kris has held construction CRE positions on various projects for major MEPh+F upgrade projects.
Project Experience
We have a wide range of capabilities and experience in electrical and mechanical contracting on new rail developments, infrastructure refurbishment works and maintenance contracts.
Previous contacts include;
Depots, 3rd and 4th rail and 25Kv over head line
Stations, 3rd and 4th rail, 25Kv overhead line for both overground and section 12 stations.
Line of route, 3rd rail and 25Kv overhead line areas.
Station modernisation and enhancement programs
Tram link Signalling, UPS and station lighting upgrade
Various periodic and system commissioning projects within both rail and commercial sites

Company Structure
The NBB Rail head office is in The Strand London, with additional offices in Dartford and Southend.
Having offices throughout the South East means we have facilities widely enough spaced to be reactive over a wide area but within a range where they can support each other if required.
This ensures that our admin support, central services and workforce are supplied with all of the necessary information, equipment, tools and materials to guarantee smooth service for our clients.
